Couples Session

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

To secure your session with us, a non-refundable retainer fee is required. This fee ensures that your date and time are reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule, you must do so at least 72 hours before your session to avoid any penalties. If you need to cancel, you must do so at least one week prior to your session for a refund of any amount paid above the retainer. Any remaining balance for the session must be paid in full at the time of your appointment

Events ONLY: You can break this into multiple payments however you see fit but must be paid day of the event.

• Late fee 15 mins after set time $25

• Come hair and makeup ready

• Additional edits & rush orders will be an additional fee

• Proofs are available for viewing and selection 12-24 hours after the session once the remaining payment is sent

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your session, the retainer fee you paid to book the appointment will not be refunded. However, if you decide to reschedule your session, you must contact us at least 72 hours before the original appointment date. In this case, your retainer fee can be applied as credit toward a new session, which will need to be scheduled for a future date and time that works for both parties.

Photographer to Client contract must be read and signed before booking!

Raw files are not included in any sessions, only if you purchase them.

You will get unlimited outfits (or as many as time allows)

You will receive all unedited images the same day or next day.

Basic editing such as color correction is included in every session (Events).

All sessions will require a NON REFUNDABLE 50% retainer fee (which is applied towards the cost of the session)

All sessions will be available via online gallery to pick and choose images.

Prints available for additional cost.(UP TO TWO WEEK TURNAROUND)

Please be timely and ready at the start of your shoot time. You are in charge for your makeup, hair, and props you would like to use during the shoot.

What is The Khalid Lamar Collection?

The Khalid Lamar Collection is a premier photography and cinematography agency dedicated to capturing the essence of every moment with creativity and precision. Based in Michigan with a presence in Atlanta, we are always ready to travel and capture moments anywhere in the world.

What is your process?

You will be guided to our booking site, where you'll find a calendar displaying available dates and times. After selecting your preferred slot, you'll be prompted to complete an inquiry form. Your session request with The Khalid Lamar Collection will then be submitted for approval.

Once your session is approved, you will receive an email with a link to finalize your booking. This will include a detailed questionnaire to help us tailor your experience, along with an agreement contract.

To secure your date and time, a deposit is required, which can be conveniently paid via PayPal or debit/credit card. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance to be paid at a later date. Upon completion, you will receive an email confirmation of your session.

What is a edit/retouch?

An "Edit" or "Retouch" is an enhanced image. This involves the process of skin smoothening, color corrections, cleaning the backdrop, and removal of any imperfections in the image.

How long do you keep our photos for? Are they backed up somewhere? What happens if we lose them?

At The Khalid Lamar Collection, your photos are securely stored on our proof site for a minimum of one year. While we’ve consistently maintained ample storage, we’ve been backing up couples' shoots for the past six years to ensure long-term access and availability.

Additionally, we keep final copies backed up on multiple hard drives indefinitely. Should you ever lose your photos, simply reach out to us, and we'll be happy to provide you with a copy.

When will i receive my pictures?

Typically, your photos will be delivered via email with a gallery link within 1-2 days. During peak times or for larger quantities of images, this may extend up to 1 week. Retouched images will be completed within approximately 1-2 weeks after you create a favorite list from your gallery. Once the retouches are finished, you'll receive an email notification with the updated gallery. We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed throughout the process.
